Battery missing , Starter Motor missing , some strange Electric box out of the second pic but the ECU and regulatoe rectifyer are still there... I think the said item may have been a Alarm due to a black short wire maybe a antenna.
    Any info be great.

The problem is you can buy all the thinks you can see are missing and then get a nasty shock when you discover something expensive/important has been bodged up. It's certainly a mess, that's for sure :(
If it ain't broke you obviously haven't tuned it enough

    Sent him a PM ...

    Hi Jim ..

I am acting as a go between .. it's a quick query about your original DNA...

A 'mature' Yorkshire member on the Scooter Nations' forum as just got ripped of in doing a swap for his good scoot for a far from good DNA ...

It came into my mind that you may still have the DNA that blew ...????

If so if you let me have your email address ... may I get Chris.M to contact you ..???

    Regards Mike (Walsall)

    Re: Gilera DNA 125 / 180

Nice one Mike much appreciated. I am at a loss on this one at the moment. Not sure where to start. The lad also claimed he had fit a 180 head and cylinder to it but found that there was water in the oil.... Anybody on here know where to look on the cylinder for the Cubic Capacity stamp I have had a quick look but not seen anything.

Has anybody got a PDF of the manual also that would be a good start.

Looks like the engine has to come out anyhow so I think that will be the next stage and find parts as I go along.

You can tell what cc the leader engines are by the colour of the barrel

    The 125cc has a black barrel, and the 180/200cc has a silver barrel....if i remember correctly :D
